I’ve taught English and Spanish to students in all levels of K-16 education at both public and private schools. I currently live in Athens, GA where I teach middle school Spanish. If you’d like to learn more about my teaching experiences, visit my teaching portfolio!

I am pursuing a degree in educational technology for many reasons. First, I love the new possibilities various technologies propose for learning. While teaching, I’ve come to appreciate well-crafted technological tools for instruction and assessment. It is my goal to transition into a higher education environment as an instructional designer and team up with those that are attempting to create and refine interactive courseware and learning management systems.

Like many others, I’m fascinated by the advances in online instruction and a bit of an Education news junkie. In order to get my fix, I created the website EdTrends, which provides a constantly updated stream of educational news using a visual display of RSS feeds from some of the top educational news outlets! Check it out and join the conversation.
Thank you for joining me on my journey. If you’d like, you may contact me at any time!
All the best,
Matt
