Visual World: Introduction

In a quickly moving, visual world, images matter. The impression left on the mind by a striking image can have very real, lasting effects.

When I started work in Adobe Photoshop as a teen, I was immediately drawn to the power of the image. What Photoshop seemed to promise was a way to bring ideas to life.

More than a decade later, the advances in Photoshop have made it the de-facto raster image editing software. Pair it with a vector-based image editor like Illustrator and a Designer can handle basically any graphic task that comes their way.

In the video, I've condensed about 40 minutes of design work into a quick-paced 7 minute demo. Don't forget to turn the quality settings to 480p for best quality results!
